As confused as you are
I am no better
Yet, every time I look at us
I know something good is on our way
And it is worth every wait.
I am not good with words
Neither you are with expression
Yet we manage to understand
Like you tell the half
And I complete the rest.

One More Song

Darling!
Can I sing one more song?
And let my heart dance in joys
Of a celebration of all the stars aligned
And their victory in bringing them together.

Darling!
Can I paint their union once more?
Of them under a willow tree, holding hands
Lost in each other in the name of star gazing
With the vibrant colors of love.

Darling!
Can I write one more poem?
And let world know how lovers make me feel.
So beautiful, magical, surreal and ethereal,
And words fall short to define the beauty of love.

Gray Rainbow

The world seems to have stopped
Its move at your doorsteps.
Those melted clock on the wall,
Frozen yogurt in the fridge,
Laden dust in the corner
And the stopped heart at other.

Barely a whisper lacked the meaning
And the life has lost its luster,
Never imagined a gray rainbow; it existed
When the seasons of color mourn
And existence began to heavily weigh
Beyond the will to carry on.

The never enough winter’s sunshine
To light the smile on everyone’s face.
Those eyes, full of thousand stories,
Buried all when she closed for the last time.
The world is a miracle of miseries
Ready to applaud when it is others’.

Savvy Time

She waited for him to return for so long
Savvy was the time, who witnesses the futility of the wait
Cruelty of the fate, duality of the game played by thy love.
The innocence perishes with the betrayal
The pain was slyed with the veil of hatred.
Did her heart bleed and eyes puff from crying?
Nah, she was too strong for the display of weakness
From the continuous denial of the emotion surfacing,
She eventually became void of emotions.
Savvy was the time, a witness of all
It will unfold what fate has stored for her
Will time seal the past and heal the pain?
Nah, fate seems to have another sinister plan.

#Spring

If I was to love
I would love to love;
The budding romance of a nature
With the beautiful peach blossoms of a spring,
Walking bare feet on the misty grass,
Enjoying the divine odor of freshly woken earth,
Watching the crack of dawn and the emergence of sun.

The Year I Met You

The year I met you was the year;
Of stagnation of free flowing river,
Entrapped without an inch of escape.
There was no going back or moving on
I remain there, frozen with the time.
Waiting for the sun to melt the coldness
Of a snow queen dwelling in me.

The year I met you was the year;
I drown into the deeper well of thoughts
Without an inch of escape
The more I thought, the more was a pain
The more pain I felt, the more ignorant I became.
The deeper I went, the scarier world was
The scarier world grew the stronger I become.

The year I met you was the year;
Of enlightenment of the soul
The year of discovering myself
The year I learned to live with the pain
The year of great lessons and pleasant memories
The year like never before
It was the year I fell in love with you.

Tonight

Tonight,
I will sink into my thoughts
And let my imagination bleed
While I continue to give shape to the little wonders
That wander in my mind by writing it.
I am not sure of what I am going to write,
I felt the need to write for past few days
But I just couldn’t ponder on what to write.
Damn! I can’t write more than this.

That Girl

***If you don't write when you don't have time for it, then you won't write when you DO have time for it***

She was amiable,
Not very hard to read
But beyond understanding
She was a mystery,
Inhibiting the mind
Of those who try to decipher.
Nobody knew the color of her feeling
For it kept changing
A moment it was red, yellow,
Green, white or black
But blue was prevalent.
Everyone saw the exhaustion
In the beads of sweat
But not her pain
In the grilled of emotions.
And there was no heal,
For her body wasn't in a pain
But her soul was on the quest.
And she was flawless with the way
She carried her flaws with an ease.
She was no less in agony
But it was no less miracle
To see her moving on.
