The Rose

Source: Google

I am the rose, supposed to bloom in a glossy jar

You can hear my cry, from the far.

How am I supposed to bloom, when I am sealed?

How could you not see, when I am not able to conceal?

They say they love me yet imprison my soul

How could loving be so cruel?

They hail my beauty yet strangle my right

I live thousand deaths making their life bright.

I am the rose that will never raise

Yet they will admire and praise.

The red and the most beautiful in a garden

They say but red as I bleed with a burden.

One More Song

Darling!
Can I sing one more song?
And let my heart dance in joys
Of a celebration of all the stars aligned
And their victory in bringing them together.

Darling!
Can I paint their union once more?
Of them under a willow tree, holding hands
Lost in each other in the name of star gazing
With the vibrant colors of love.

Darling!
Can I write one more poem?
And let world know how lovers make me feel.
So beautiful, magical, surreal and ethereal,
And words fall short to define the beauty of love.

Gray Rainbow

The world seems to have stopped
Its move at your doorsteps.
Those melted clock on the wall,
Frozen yogurt in the fridge,
Laden dust in the corner
And the stopped heart at other.

Barely a whisper lacked the meaning
And the life has lost its luster,
Never imagined a gray rainbow; it existed
When the seasons of color mourn
And existence began to heavily weigh
Beyond the will to carry on.

The never enough winter’s sunshine
To light the smile on everyone’s face.
Those eyes, full of thousand stories,
Buried all when she closed for the last time.
The world is a miracle of miseries
Ready to applaud when it is others’.

Savvy Time

She waited for him to return for so long
Savvy was the time, who witnesses the futility of the wait
Cruelty of the fate, duality of the game played by thy love.
The innocence perishes with the betrayal
The pain was slyed with the veil of hatred.
Did her heart bleed and eyes puff from crying?
Nah, she was too strong for the display of weakness
From the continuous denial of the emotion surfacing,
She eventually became void of emotions.
Savvy was the time, a witness of all
It will unfold what fate has stored for her
Will time seal the past and heal the pain?
Nah, fate seems to have another sinister plan.

Suicidal Romance

A sky asked me once
Why don't you come up?
I have moon, stars and sun
And you could be the one
A temptation was so strong
To be the one of the star
That the people will look up
At night, admiring
With millions of thoughts running
But I realised I have the universe
On the earth, a loving one;
Family, friends and a love.
Then I replied to the sky
Later, when the right time comes
Sooner or later but I will be one of you
For now, let me love you from the earth.

Chosen

Of all the agony and pain
I still wonder
Why did you choose me?
I have the scars
That aren't pretty
I have the past
That I ain't proud of
I am a piece of mess
Not worth picking up
I am a broken pieces
Beyond any mending
Of all I am the one
Nobody would choose.

Then you said
Of all the agony and pain
I love your triumphing smile
The scar that runs deep
Has the most beautiful story to tell
The not so pretty past
Shaped into the most beautiful
Person in you
You are the broken pieces
Not meant for mending
But to be loved
I would choose not one
All can love but only I can.
For, you are chosen
Because of who you are.

Tears of Diamond

The sky mourn my solitude
Concealing my roar with the thunders
In line we wept, pouring our heart out
In the land of agony.

A pregnant wind of silence
Was roaring in my ear
Whispering the words of comfort
In the land of strangers.

I wept the tears of diamond
In the claws of solitude
And my heart wasn't at ease
With the gnawing choatic silence.

With each passing days
It wasn't getting better
But heavier & heavier
And I am falling apart.

Lord! Take me away
Real away from here
At faraway place
Where I truly belong.

The Year I Met You

The year I met you was the year;
Of stagnation of free flowing river,
Entrapped without an inch of escape.
There was no going back or moving on
I remain there, frozen with the time.
Waiting for the sun to melt the coldness
Of a snow queen dwelling in me.

The year I met you was the year;
I drown into the deeper well of thoughts
Without an inch of escape
The more I thought, the more was a pain
The more pain I felt, the more ignorant I became.
The deeper I went, the scarier world was
The scarier world grew the stronger I become.

The year I met you was the year;
Of enlightenment of the soul
The year of discovering myself
The year I learned to live with the pain
The year of great lessons and pleasant memories
The year like never before
It was the year I fell in love with you.

Sky

What will the sky say?
When it sees the vastness
Of my thought stretches
Far beyond thy reach
To the end of the east
And the beginning of the quest
In a never ending circle
Of the journey to the west.
What will the night say?
To sees the universe in me
Darker and more beautiful
Than the twinkling stars,
Lighting the whole milky way
And touching the souls
More than the stars in the sky.
What will the sky say?
When the limit it sets
Is broken by the reach
Of my thoughts that streches
Far beyond thy reach
To the bound less world
Of imagination.

The Tree

How sad for the tree
To let the wind sway
Its leaves left and right,
North and south, without its will.

How sad for the tree
To let the beautiful birds
Take refuge on its branch
And abandon without a notice.

How sad for the tree
To stand whole life on the same place
And only time they travel
Is after they are cut down.

That Girl

***If you don't write when you don't have time for it, then you won't write when you DO have time for it***

She was amiable,
Not very hard to read
But beyond understanding
She was a mystery,
Inhibiting the mind
Of those who try to decipher.
Nobody knew the color of her feeling
For it kept changing
A moment it was red, yellow,
Green, white or black
But blue was prevalent.
Everyone saw the exhaustion
In the beads of sweat
But not her pain
In the grilled of emotions.
And there was no heal,
For her body wasn't in a pain
But her soul was on the quest.
And she was flawless with the way
She carried her flaws with an ease.
She was no less in agony
But it was no less miracle
To see her moving on.
