Simply Me

I am never good at anything
But I don’t stop trying
It has never been easy
But I have never withdrawn
I am not that strong
But I never let my weakness win.
I make lots of mistake
But I learn through them.
I complain often
But also I never fail to feel grateful.
I frequently fall down hard
But I am adamant on rising.
Every little things break me
But I pick every pieces.
I am a fighter, survivor
I am a loser and a winner
But I don’t quit.

Home

Little away from the home,
Little closer to the heart.
Home is where a heart is.
Heart dwells neither in a
Luxurious complex nor in a cozy suite
But where the warmth of love
Sparkles in the coldest weather,
Where sense of belongings
Is instilled instantly
And get connected affectionately.
You miss home when you
Can’t connect to a room full of people,
Feels trapped in four corners of walls
And when your smile don’t reach your eyes.
Home is where a heart is
And the heart is where a love is.

Block - E

I stand at a threshold of my life,
With a coffee in a hand,
My gaze fixed at Block E
Through the wire gauze sliding door.
I can see the vibrant colors of curtains
Firmly closed at this hour.
A group of boys singing in the balcony,
A guitar in a hand, songs on lips
And the melody in their voice.
Again, I look at a sole building
An abode of my two years stays
At particular room of HE-19.
I feel my lips stretching upward
As I remember every single detail
Of ups and downs I had.
